Dr. hab. Marek Jan Wasiński holds the position of Associate Professor at the University of Lodz (ORCID ID: 0000-0003-0109-9164). His academic pursuits encompass a broad spectrum of interests, spanning various theoretical, non-mainstream approaches to international law, an intricate exploration of Eastern Europe as a distinct liminal and post-imperial realm, and examination of international human rights protection in the context of Africa.

Dr. Wasiński was a visiting professor at the Tbilisi State University in Georgia and Kenyatta University in Kenya. He has lent his expertise as a rapporteur for International Organizations (OXIO) at Oxford University Press and collaborated with the Comissão de Justiça e Paz e Integridade da Criação during the period spanning 2014 to 2015. He provides expertise on the law of Sub-Saharan states before Polish Courts.

Dr. Wasiński is also a dedicated educator, earning accolades for his coaching of students from the University of Lodz. His students have achieved notable success in prestigious international law moot court competitions, including The Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.

Beyond the confines of academia, Dr. Wasiński actively disseminates his knowledge of international law and international relations to a wider audience. Most notably, he produced a series of 73 episodes titled "Trzecie oblicze dyplomacji" for Polish Radio 3 in 2015 and 2017, contributing significantly to the broader understanding of these subjects.
