PROFIL PRACOWNIKA: Joanna Kulawiak-Cyrankowska

Classical scholar (here: both academic and student:). She holds a doctorate in Law and a master's degree in Classical Philology, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in literary studies alongside her position at the University of Lodz, where she teaches courses in Roman law and Latin. While Roman jurisprudence has her heart, she cannot resist sneaking into literary sources to uncover legal references - especially in the works of her favourites, Martial and Seneca the Rhetorician. She is passionate about studying and teaching Latin in Latin.
