POSITION DESCRIPTION
Conducting empirical research and teaching students of sociology, social work and foreign students in a frame of Erasmus+ and other exchange programmes.
BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
My research interests include the Finnish socio-economic model, the relationship between sports and politics, social inequality and public discourse (especially the phenomenon of moral panics). I am the author or co-author of four books and more than 60 peer-reviewed articles in journals and edited volumes.
I am a member of the Polish and Finnish Sociological Society (Westermarck Society). I have taught as a guest lecturer at universities in Germany (Free University of Berlin, Justus Liebig University of Giessen and University of Göttingen), Finland (Universities of Turku and Tampere), Estonia (University of Tartu), France (Sophia Antipolis University of Nice) and the Czech Republic (Charles University in Prague).

INTERESTS
In my spare time, I jog and read crime fiction novels (often at the same time), and non-stop cheer for Widzew Łódź football club.
