Jakub Zabłocki graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Sociology of the University of Lodz
He is one of the founders of X-Trade Brokers, a brokerage house offering access to advanced investments. X-Trade is not a classic brokerage house; it offers individual clients a platform to trade currencies and commodities. It took Zablocki seven years to create his own brokerage.
Jakub Zablocki has worked in finance since 1996, first at Bank Przemysłowy, then as an analyst for Gilette Poland and at BRE Bank in Warsaw, as an inspector, dealer and specialist. In 2003, he decided to give bank clients what they had not yet received – an access to new financial instruments, lower margins and 24-hour services. This is how X-Trade Brokers was founded. XTB offers clients online investment platforms. In 2010, X-Trade attracted a strategic investor, Enterprise Investors, and thus Zablocki made it onto the lists of the richest Poles.
