Graduate of the Department of Finance and Banking at the University of Lodz and one-year Business Administration studies at the University of Mannheim. Among other things, he completed a course for investment advisor candidates and programmes organised by the CFA Institute and the Professional Risk Managers' International Association, under which he obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Professional Risk Manager (PRM) titles.
He started his career in 2000 at the head office of Dresdner Bank AG in the strategic planning and management team of the Asset Management division. Then, from 2001, he was associated with KPMG Consulting GmbH, based in Frankfurt am Main, where he implemented reorganisation and restructuring projects in the investment banking and brokerage areas of renowned foreign banks and financial institutions.
Since 2004, he has been associated with BRE Bank SA in Warsaw, where he was responsible for measuring the effectiveness of business lines, supervised the area of capital management within the BRE Bank Group and participated in the work of the Bank's Asset and Liability Management Committee.
He has been associated with Xelion Investment House since 2008 as a Financial Director, Vice President of the Management Board and, since June 2015, as a President of the Management Board of the company.
