In 1991, he graduated in history from the University of Lodz, specialising in the history of international relations. After obtaining his master's degree, he started his service in the Office of State Protection. From 2001, he worked at the Supreme Chamber of Control, where he completed his controller's training in 2004.
From 2006 to 2008, he held the position of a Deputy Director of the Foreign Intelligence Agency with the rank of Colonel. From 2009 to 2013, he worked as a Counsellor-Minister at the Polish Embassy in Washington, where he dealt mainly with security issues, especially in the Gulf States region. Upon his return to the country, he took up the position of a Deputy Director of the Foreign Services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and then a Director of the Office for Classified Information Protection. From December 2017 to June 2023, he was an Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
