Tomasz Łysek

Deputy Head of Ksawerów Municipality (2018)

He completed environmental protection studies with a specialisation in environmental planning and management at the Faculty of Biology and Earth Sciences of the University of Lodz, and postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Process Engineering and Environmental Protection of the Lodz University of Technology. 

He has been with the WFOŚiGW in Łódź since 2000, where he gained experience in the Department of Environmental Education Promotion and the Department of Atmospheric Protection. After Poland joined the European Union, he was in charge of the newly established European Union Funds Team responsible for, inter alia, monitoring projects which were to receive financial support from the EU funds for the Łódź Voivodeship. He actively participated in a series of conferences on the EU funds in the years 2007-2013. Acting as an Office Director in the years 2007-2011, he was responsible for the implementation and supervision of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, which significantly improved and structured the processes related to granting financial assistance. 
In March 2011 he was appointed a President of the Board of the WFOŚiGW in Łódź, on behalf of which he participated in the work of the Regional Council for Nature Protection, appointed by the Regional Director of Environmental Protection in Łódź. Due to his experience, in September 2013 he became a member of the Council of the Complex of Landscape Parks of the Lodz Voivodeship, which is appointed by the Board of the Lodz Voivodeship. 

In 2018, he served as a deputy to Adam Topolski, mayor of the municipality of Ksawerów, near Łódź. At the office, Tomasz Łysek supervised the spatial management, real estate, agriculture and environmental protection departments, the municipal management department, and also monitored the management control system.
