Half an hour is also scheduled for questions. The link to the meeting can be found on the Lodz Cyber Hub website.
On 21 April we would like to invite you to a meeting with Patrick Jones, who will visit the University of Lodz once more with an invitation to discuss cybersecurity and cybercrime. Patrick is a Senior Director for Global Stakeholder Engagement and he coordinates ICANN's activities of collaboration with, among others, Internet users in all regional teams. He will present the practical aspects of fighting cybercrime online using the domain name system (DNS Abuse), which is also a current interest topic [op.europa.eu] of the European Commission.
ICANN is a global, non-profit organisation responsible for the operation of domains and DNS servers around the world (the so-called backbone network), as well as creating and managing the system of IP numbers assigned to each device with Internet access. The entire global Internet functions thanks to ICANN. Adam Peak already visited the University several times in the past year, and returns in April with online events.
