UNIC – European University of Post-Industrial Cities
University of Lodz joined the European University of Post-Industrial Cities (UNIC) in 2022.
UNIC – European University of Post-Industrial Cities is one of 44 alliances of European Universities. European Universities are transnational alliances that will become the universities of the future, promoting European values and identity, and revolutionising the quality and competitiveness of European higher education. They will do so by joint implementation of innovative solutions in the field of education and science and deep institutional integration.
Being a part of the alliance increases the international visibility of the partnership and tightens cooperation with other international academic centres. Students, doctoral students, scientists and administration personnel belonging to the UNIC alliance can benefit from education and gain professional experience at partner universities as part of the jointly developed innovative projects that add a new dimension to inter-university cooperation.
UNIC is also about expanding educational opportunities for students, including members of the migrant community and people living in disadvantaged socio-economic conditions.
You can read more about UNIC's initiatives on the university's website and on the website of the alliance.
