We are introducing the six new #uniLodz Ambassadors. Over the coming months, they will inform our community about important and interesting initiatives. Get to know them better.
Hi! My name is Ania Antczak and I am a third-year student of Econometrics and Data Analytics at the Faculty of Economics and Sociology. Even though I major in sciences, I also love artistic and more creative subjects :) When I started my studies, I thought that it would be nice to see what student life is like from different perspectives. I have joined the Inwestor Student Science Club. I have been active in it for over two years, and I am currently its board member. Let's Build a Heart Together in cooperation with the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity and the creation of the scientific Deal Magazine are the biggest projects that I have had the opportunity to organise. In my free time, I love exploring new places, traveling and spending time with my beloved ones. I am happy to take on new challenges. When I plan something, I pursue my goal.
Hi, my name is Jurek Gałęziewski and I am a third-year mathematics student at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science. I have graduated from the economic technical school in Skierniewice, but I knew from the beginning that I wanted to become a maths teacher. For this reason, I have chosen to specialise in teaching, and my studies and internships so far have only reinforced my conviction that this is what I want to do in life. As far as my interests are concerned, I love going to the theatre, I love musicals. In my spare time, I also play various board games (which I collect and love) and computer games, which I sometimes show on my twitch channel, as some may already know.
Hello, my name is Jula Szczecińska and I am a second-year student of Human Resources Management. I am a member of Personalni Student Science Club operating at the Faculty of Management. I am interested in photography and neurodidactics. I love music – it makes the day colourful. I am curious about the world of tattoos and piercings. I am a brave, open to new acquaintances and curious about the world person. This is why I signed up for the #UniLodz Ambassador programme.
Hello, my name is Mateusz Pietras. I am a BA History graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy and History and I am currently an MA Audiovisual Media and Digital Culture student at the Faculty of Philology. I have been active on the Internet and creating various digital content for years. As part of the initiative called "Historię Tworzą Ludzie" [History is Created by People], I have created numerous popular science materials. I also run several smaller social media profiles. I am interested in history – especially the Middle Ages, culture – especially popular and digital culture, and politics.
Hi! My name is Zosia Nyka and I am a student of Law. I am involved in the life of my faculty. Many years of activity in the European Law Students’ Association taught me a lot and motivated me to expand my activities beyond the Faculty of Law and Administration. Even though law is quite demanding, I also try to work in other areas. Apart from focusing on law, I travel a lot around the world. My greatest passion is traveling, meeting new people and their cultures, which I managed to combine perfectly during my year-long volunteering in Greece. Additionally, as part of the Erasmus+ programme, I went on a student exchange to Spain, thanks to which I know what it is like to study at a foreign university and I have decided to join the Erasmus Student Network to help organise trips for our international friends. I also love helping others, especially my four-legged friends. I am a proud owner of 4 dogs. I am certainly not afraid of new challenges and I will become the voice of students of the University of Lodz with great pleasure and pride.
Hello! My name is Karolina Kołacz and I am a first-year student of International Journalism at the Faculty of Philology. I love working in the media, that's why I have chosen this major. Working with people is my favourite form of work. Social projects and volunteering have been absorbing me for a long time now, at the same time giving me the opportunity to develop myself and improve my activity. I am addicted to taking photos. I definitely can't call myself a photographer, but I take great joy in enclosing short and important moments from my life in a kind of bubble (which is a gallery). I love the fact that when I have a lot of photos, I can always go back to them and to a given moment. I believe that the #UniLodz Ambassador project will be an amazing adventure for me. Our team is tight and ready to work for you!
#UniLodz Ambassador is a programme addressed to the University of Lodz students who want to participate actively in the life of the university and support it in the area of everyday communication with the academic community. Its participants have a chance to work closely with PR, social media and event management specialists, who are employed by the largest employer in Lodz.
Where will you meet our Ambassadors? Wherever something interesting is taking place – at events, on social media, during interesting initiatives.
