Jerzy Czubak

Business Group President, Amcor Tobacco Packaging

Jerzy Czubak is a theatrologist by education (graduate of cultural studies at the University of Lodz). He is also a creator, animator and patron of Lodz culture. Thanks to him, the Amcor corporation has supported the following festivals, among others: Camerimage, Arthur Rubinstein International Music Festival, Wł. Strzemiński Art Competition, as well as the Teatr Powszechny, the Museum of the City of Lodz and the Muzem Sztuki. At Amcor's factory, ul. Aleksandrowska 55, there is an art gallery where professors, lecturers and graduates of the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz have been presenting their work for 20 years. He is also one of the creators and Director of the iconic "Łódźstock" festival in the 1980s.

Jerzy Czubak has been active in the community. After 1989, he actively participated in the establishment of democratic institutions. He was co-founder and Vice President of the Lodz Chamber of Commerce and Industry, a founding member of the Liberal Democratic Congress in Lodz, co-founder and member of the Council of the Entrepreneurship Development Foundation. He is currently a member of the Governing Board of the PAM Center of the University of Lodz, a member of the Council of the MS2 Art Museum and one of the advisors to the Mayor of Lodz.

Since July 2015, he has served as President of Amcor Tobacco Packaging, one of the world's largest packaging manufacturers.
