The new five-story building of the Faculty of Educational Sciences at Scheiblerów 2 Avenue is oblong and has a glass facade and rounded gables. It’s located parallel to The Scheibler family Avenue at the intersection with Narutowicza Street. The so-called ‘sun breakers’ were installed on the entire façade to protect against excess sun. Some of them are illuminated after dark with LED strips with variable colours. A glass part of the new building connects it with the previously existing Wacław Szubert Assembly Hall, which can accommodate 500 people.

The building (over 6,000 square metres of usable area) hosts laboratories, teaching, monographic, training and conference rooms, as well as sanitary and social rooms (e.g. public kitchens on each floor) for over 700 students of all five years of Psychology and Pedagogy. There are also two large lecture halls with a capacity of 130 people each. The spaciousness and lightness of the interior of the new building of the Faculty of Educational Sciences is enhanced by a large glass hall with elevator shafts, reaching to the upper floors of the building, with semi-open corridors on individual floors, giving the impression of balconies.
