of the University of Lodz Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Quality of Education

on: the call for applications for the Rector's Award for the University of Lodz students, based on the Regulation No. 53 of the Rector of the University of 2 July 2020

  1. The Rector's awards can be applied for by students of the University of Lodz, who have shown special effort for the development and promotion of the University of Lodz community, among others, in the UL student organisations or other university bodies or by achieving, among others, high results in sports or artistic competitions.
  2. Any of the following entitles the University of Lodz students to apply for the Rector's Award:
  1. achievements (including sports and artistic ones) obtained in the academic year 2020/2021,
  2. activity for the University of Lodz community (including work in student organisations of the University of Lodz or other university bodies) demonstrated only in the summer semester in the academic year 2021/2022.

In special cases, the Rector may decide to grant the award for achievements or activity in a period other than that indicated above.

  1. The Rector's Award for significant sports or artistic achievements, promoting the University, shall be awarded only to a student who has not received the Rector's Scholarship for the academic year in which the demonstrated achievements were obtained. In special cases, the Rector may decide otherwise.
  2. The Rector's Award shall not be awarded more than once for achieving a certain sports or artistic achievement or for activity for the community of the University of Lodz demonstrated during a specific period.
  3. All the interested students of the University of Lodz apply for the Rector’s Award in accordance with the rules contained in the Rules for awarding the Rector's Awards for the University of Lodz students. Along with the application, completed information for tax purposes must be submitted. Failure to submit information for tax purposes prevents payment of the Rector's Award.

  5. The filled in, signed and scanned applications for the Rector’s Award with the attachments should be sent via e-mail to the following e-mail address: nagrody.rektora@uni.lodz.pl, until 10 July 2022. The application and the attachments must be sent by a student applying for the Rector's Award from the electronic mailbox assigned to their profile in USOSWeb.
