You no longer need to look for the most important information on the website.
In the app you will find the most important information from the various Faculties, such as:
- Academic calendar
- Timetable
- Dean's Office and Student Services Centre
- Student ID
- Supervisors of study programmes
- Student Science Clubs
- Internships
- Applications
- Car parks
- Libraries.
You can also always have the latest news and announcements at your fingertips.
In the Knowledge Base you will also find the general university issues:
- Basic information about Unilodz, including our values and a presentation of the university authorities
- Academic Support Centre – information about psychological counselling, adaptation and preventive workshops, opportunities to obtain educational support
- Dormitories – the list of student dormitories, fee information and documents to download
- University of Lodz Library – detailed information about the library and faculty libraries
- Career with UniLodz – opportunities for individual career development, information on training, workshops and entrepreneurship projects
- Student e-mail, USOS, WiFi – a step by step explanation of how it works and where to ask for technical assistance
- Community – student government, science clubs, UniLodz Ambassadors, cultural events and artistic groups – how you can pursue your interests and passions outside of classes
- Sport – what our university offers to physically active people
- Scholarships – what types of scholarships are available and how to obtain them, as well as information about benefits and material assistance for people in difficult situations
- Student life – the University of Lodz campus, healthcare, insurance and where to eat at the University of Lodz, i.e. a quick guide to more and less everyday student matters
HOW TO DOWNLOAD THE APP?
MyUniLodz application is softwarethat is available on mobile devices (a tablet, a smartphone). It operates on two leading mobile platforms (Android and iOS). It can be accessed by any student with a University of Lodz email account and access to the University of Lodz IT systems.
- Download the app adapted to your mobile platform (Android or iOS): click one of the links below or go to the Play/App Store and type in "MyUniLodz"
- Log in with your university Microsoft365 account (for more on Microsoft Office 365 account, visit the student zone)
- When logging in to the application, you will be redirected to the University of Lodz Central Logging System (CAS) page. To access the application you must agree to the use of selected information so that your identity can be authorised by the University of Lodz systems:
- Scope of data
- openid – OpenID Connect authentication request. This is the method of authentication used when logging in.
- profile – a request for access to profile data excluding address and e-mail data used for user verification during login and use of the application.
- offline_access – a request for access to the refresh token used for offline access and session refresh while using the application.
- ul – a request for access to the university data such as university ID or employee code used when using the University of Lodz services including logging in and using applications.
- email – a request for access to e-mail data used for user verification when logging in and using the application.
- Scope of data
- Once your details have been validated, you will be asked to:
- select language,
- tick the app usage and failure data that you will share with its administrators,
- accept push notifications (notifications from applications that appear on your phone),
- select colours for the application interface,
- select Faculties from which you wish to receive information in the "News" section.

Haven’t you selected all the Faculties you were interested in during registration? Don't worry, you can add subscribed units at any time: after logging into the app, on the start screen, click on the 'Settings' icon (top right corner) and select 'Subscribed faculties'.
THE APP INTERFACE – HOW TO USE IT?
The application is based on 3 basic modules:
"Knowledge Base"
which is a place where you will find all the basic university-wide and Faculty information, including: what you can do and where, information about scholarships, applications, dormitories, support programmes and Dean's offices/Student Service Centres.
Important: information displayed in the "Knowledge Base" is not subject to subscription filters – you have access to all the information, by unit, no matter which unit you selected when registering.
The Knowledge Base offers you two options for viewing content:
- "Portals" – information divided into specific units,
- "Pathways" – training courses and tutorials to guide you through specific issues
"News"
It's a module, where we collect all the most important entries concerning scientific and cultural events, conferences, symposia and the life of our community.

"Announcements"
Here you will find particularly important pieces of information, including those from the Faculties, which you should not miss.

Additionally, in the application you can use the issue search engine (the search engine searches through the resources of News and Announcements and the Knowledge Base), the QR code scanner or the redirection to the "Mobile USOS UŁ" application
ABOUT THE PROJECT
The mobile student application is a task financed as part of the "(Nie)Pełnosprawny Student UŁ" [Student of the University of Lodz with Disabilities] project, co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund under the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development. This form of information provision, assuming full digital availability of both the tool and the content, will significantly improve the quality of communication with people with disabilities and with the entire student community.

The main functionalities of MyUniLodz application:
- Announcements module
- Faculty-related – only Faculties that were selected during application configuration (user account) or changed in user settings
- University – all the announcements that are not Faculty-related.
- News module
- Faculty-related – only Faculties that were selected during application configuration (user account) or changed in user settings
- University – all pieces of news that are not Faculty-related.
- Launch of the USOS mobile application or, if it is not available, redirecting to the application in the Google Play or Apple Store so that the user can install it.
- Knowledge Base module
- Portals – university-wide topics and Faculties
- Pathways – a set of pages from portals that are arranged in a fixed order with a suggested completion time, e.g. OHS training
- QR code scanner. After scanning the QR code, the user goes to an appropriate place in the application. The code can be scanned using the in-app scanner (round icon in the lower right corner) or a camera/external QR code scanner.
