On the first day, an international conference on contemporary challenges for the rule of law will be held. During the meeting, we want to talk with experts from Poland and abroad, e.g. about human rights indicators and methodologies for their application. In the dedicated panels, the experts will talk about such challenges for the rule of law as migration and new technologies. The meeting is open to guests from Poland and abroad. The second day will be devoted to the last closed working meeting of the FRA scientific committee in this term.

The event is a continuation of the dialogue on human rights methodologies that started last year in Berlin and a summary of the 6-year term of office of the current committee. The meeting will be opened by the Director of the FRA, Michael O'Flaherty and the panellists will include, among others: a former judge at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) and a current Director of programmes at the Academy of European Law, Dr Julia Laffranque; the former United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Human Rights of Migrants, Prof. Francois Crepeau from McGill University or Prof. Nico Schrijver from Leiden University, a member of the Council of State of the Netherlands and a former judge of the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea.
