More journals from the Lodz University Press have been included in the Modern Language Association indexing databases and in the MIAR database. Elesevier has published the CiteScore and percentile values of journals indexed in the Scopus database for 2021. We encourage you to take a look at the information.

Journals of the University of Lodz that were included in the indexing databases run by Modern Language Association:

MLA Directory of Periodicals contains metadata of journals, the thematic scope of which includes literary studies, literary theory, theatre studies, linguistics, linguistic theories, language didactics and glottodidactics. The bibliographic data of articles published in these journals are also indexed in the MLA International Bibliography database.

Both catalogues are a valuable source of information for researchers looking to publish their work, as well as for librarians looking for periodicals that best meet the needs of their institution.

The MLA journal catalogue is available as an online database hosted on EBSCOhost servers.

Journals published by the Lodz University Press were also included in the prestigious indexing database MIAR (Information Matrix for the Analysis of Journals) which collects information on multidisciplinary and specialised scientific journals published by renowned research centres.

MIAR is a Spanish database that collects data for the identification and analysis of scientific journals. It provides basic information about journals along with the databases which they are indexed in. It also publishes its own ICDS index showing the visibility of journals in various scientific databases with international coverage.

Higher CiteScore of the University of Lodz journals

Elesevier has published CiteScore indexes and percentile values of journals indexed in the Scopus database for 2021. It is a citation index indicating the journal's relative position in a selected subject area.

Eight journals affiliated with the University of Lodz obtained higher or equal citation rates than at least 40% of the journals they compete with in the discipline rankings.
