UniLodz z perfekcyjną Kartą Erasmusa!

University of Lodz obtained the maximum number of points for the application for the new Erasmus Charter. In the competition organised by the European Commission, our University proved to be perfectly prepared for new tasks concerning international exchange and cooperation. Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) is currently awarded for the period of 2021-2027.

We develop international cooperation!

The awarded Charter will allow the University to apply for funds earmarked for all activities performed during the new edition of the Programme in the coming years. They will include scholarship visits for students and staff, implementation of short-term blended mobility and Blended Intensive Programmes in cooperation with partner universities, new possibilities for PhD students, participation in many educational projects, strengthening cooperation between higher education institutions and opportunity to enrol international students and recruit international employees at the University of Lodz.

- I am thrilled to learn that the University of Lodz has fully met the criteria set by the European Commission. Despite adverse circumstances, we never give up on student and staff mobility; moreover, we seek new opportunities to promote it. The Erasmus Charter is both a guarantee to foster the international recognition of our university and an obligation to adhere to the new requirements in the coming years" - says Prof. Łukasz Bogucki, Vice-Rector for International Relations.

The application of the University of Lodz was so well-prepared that the European Commission awarded UniLodz a maximum of 100 points, whereas the threshold in the area is 76 points. Thus, the University of Lodz undertook to implement the obligations resulting from the ECHE Charter and to comply with the new principles of the Programme for 2021-2027 by preparing the University's Erasmus Policy Declaration.

University Diversity!

University of Lodz is one of the biggest Polish universities. Students from nearly 100 countries are currently studying here. Diversity is our greatest strength. For years our staff members and students have been using opportunities given by Erasmus Programme. They develop their didactic and scientific skills, explore the world and get to know new people. This is the only way to build a good quality education and the university which is truly international.

That's why from the first day of our international students' stay in Lodz, we try to make them feel comfortable. We provide them with basic information, take proper care of good conditions in dormitories and support them a lot. Some of international students become main characters of our articles and events. It's all part of our University Diversity philosophy - we differ from one another on many aspects, but core values like freedom, tolerance and openness are always the same for all of us. We invite you to study at UniLodz!

Erasmus 2021-2027

New Erasmus is the continuation of the current financial perspective for education, training, youth and sport for 2021-2027. It was created in consideration of people with fewer opportunities and it's a key instrument in building the European area of education and supporting implementation of the strategic framework for European cooperation in education and training. It's also based on the university's commitments to digitise processes of mobility management. The new programme will be not only more digital but also more engaging and open for students, more innovative and eco-friendly.
