The University of Lodz Library reading room
The EBSCO "Bazuj" tournament began on 10 October and finished on 19 December 2022. It was divided into five 2-week rounds. The goal of the tournament was for the library to take a creative and professional approach to informing its users about the available EBSCO resources. A series of posts showcasing different databases was published on the University of Lodz Library social media under the slogan ##NaukaToTutaj [#ScienceHere]
In the tournament, the following was taken into account: the total number of documents downloaded and displayed from the Core Package EBSCO databases (during a round), divided by the number of the library users.
As part of the national licence, EBSCO offers all academic and scientific institutions in Poland free access to the core package, which includes 16 comprehensive scientific databases and EBSCO Open Dissertations™ – an international database of theses and dissertations.
