Dr. hab. Katarzyna Dzitko, prof. UL from the Department of Immunology and Infectious Biology, is in charge of the Bio-Med-Chem Doctoral School of University of Lodz and Lodz Institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The school is run in cooperation with two Institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences: the Institute of Medical Biology, the Center for Molecular and Macromolecular Studies and European Regional Centre for Ecohydrology. The Bio-Med-Chem Doctoral School makes an important contribution to increasing the quality of advanced academic education. It brings together doctoral students affiliated with the following disciplines: biological sciences, medical sciences, and chemical sciences.
Dr. hab. Joanna Sowa, prof UL from the Department of Classical Philology at the Faculty of Philology is director of the University of Lodz Doctoral School of Humanities. The school awards doctoral degrees in seven disciplines: archeology, history, philosophy, linguistics, literary studies, and cultural, religious and art studies.
Dr. hab. Ilona Świątek-Barylska, prof. UL from the Department of Organization and Management Methodology at the Faculty of Management, is in charge of theUniversity of Lodz Doctoral School of Social Sciences. This school brings together doctoral students affiliated with the following disciplines: sociological sciences, economics and finance, legal sciences, pedagogy, psychology, socio-economic geography and spatial management, management and quality sciences, and political and administrative sciences.
Dr. hab. Elżbieta-Kuźniak-Gębarowska, prof. UL from the Department of Plant Physiology and Biochemistry, has been appointed director of theUniversity of Lodz Doctoral School of Exact and Natural Sciences. The school provides education to doctoral students affiliated with the following disciplines: mathematics, biological sciences, chemical sciences, physical sciences, and Earth and environmental sciences.
